INSTRUCTIONS FROM PROVINCIAL HEALTH AUTHORITY:
- Every individual experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, who has been in contact with someone experiencing symptoms, or is under a provincial isolation order for at least the past 10 days must self-isolate at home.
- Every individual who has travelled outside of Canada must self-isolate at home and self-monitor for symptoms for at least 14 days.
THÉÂTRE LA SEIZIÈME’S SAFETY MEASURES:
- Electronic box office system in order to limit physical contact
- A distance of two meters between spectators and a distance of three meters between spectators and performers.
- Hand sanitizer available at every performance
- Staff members wearing face shields and other PPE
- Our performance spaces will be safely cleaned before and after each performance
- We will allow a limited number of audience members for each performance.
HOW WILL EACH PERFORMANCE WORK?
After you buy your ticket, a Théâtre la Seizième staff member will reach out to you before the performance in order to confirm the names and contact information for every individual attending in your group. This will allow for effective contact tracing in the event of an outbreak. Groups and individuals will be offered assigned seating in order to maintain physical distancing.
For this season, we have programmed two performances that allow us to respect provincial health guidelines:
- Nos Repaires is made up of five independent artistic duos that perform outside in different locations. The number of spectators will be limited to 24 people per performance, which will allow for 6 meters of space between individuals or family bubbles.
- Violette is a virtual reality performance for one audience member at a time, presented in Studio 16. Only two audience members will be present in the same room at the same time, and they will never come into contact. The virtual reality headset worn by audience members will be disinfected between performances using disinfecting wipes and a Cleanbox, cleaning technology that projects UV rays, certified to eliminate the coronavirus.
All of the objects and surfaces that audience members come into contact with during performances will be disinfected after use.
DO I NEED TO WEAR A MASK?
At this time, it is not mandatory to wear a mask inside our performance spaces, but it is strongly recommended. Please note that Théâtre la Seizième will not be distributing disposable masks.
WILL THE BOX OFFICE BE OPEN DURING PERFORMANCES?
Yes, representatives of the company will be present on the evening of each performance in order to welcome you as safely as possible. However, we strongly recommend to buy your tickets in advance, via our online box office, in order to ensure a quick, enjoyable, and safe experience.
