Méli and Zola were born on the same day, from the same womb. Two young sisters – also known as “hermanitas” – with mischievous eyes, big smiles and contagious energy… one with black skin, and the other, white skin. As close as the fingers on their little hands, the twins are thrilled to become big sisters in just a few hours. What color will the newborn be: more copper-cocoa like Zola, or golden sugar like Méli?
Théâtre des Petites Âmes crafts an intimate and enchanting universe with Hermanitas. Music, puppets and lights weave together to create a playful dance of appearances, disappearances and transformations of bodies and objects. This show is a celebration of uniqueness in resemblance as in difference, and truly inspires awe and wonder in young audiences.
