The artistic incubator for creative practice

As an anchor arts institution, we take our leadership role seriously and aim to nurture the Francophone and Francophile artistic community’s professional development through varying ways of support. In 2001, we launched an innovative dramaturgical development program to foster creativity by commissioning promising playwrights and providing them with the necessary financial, dramaturgical, and artistic support.

In 2023, the program evolved into the Artistic Incubator for Creative Practice. With this change, we aim to strengthen our impact on the artistic community that surrounds our company by investing more resources into and increasing the opportunities for development. Our end goal is to allow artists to deepen their practices and to assist more local productions in reaching the stage.

Support from the Artistic Incubator takes many shapes – commissions to playwrights and theatre-makers, support for independent projects and professional development and training opportunities.
