Stallone

The humdrum life of Lise, a medical secretary, is turned upside down after she sees a movie: Rocky 3 triggers an epiphany. Following the example of the veteran boxing champ who takes on the challenge of one more shot in the ring, Lise throws herself headlong into another attempt at her medical studies. Driven by an irrepressible life force, the young woman seizes control of her destiny by following actor Sylvester Stallone’s career step by step – and developing a profound affection for him.

Accompanied by pianist Pascal Sangla, who deconstructs the famous hit “Eye of the Tiger”, actor Clotilde Hesme – who won a Molière award for this role – delivers a heartfelt and riveting performance. Steeped in the nostalgia of the 1980s, the poetics of combat and the triumph of perseverance, Stallone offers a vivid look at the influence of art on the outcome of our destinies.
