887

With this new kaleidoscopic solo piece. Robert Lepage invites us behind the scenes of his mind, where we find his childhood memories, and those of a Quebec in the midst of a political rebirth. By opening the doors to 887 Murray Street in Quebec, where he lived from 1960 to 1970, he also opens the doors to a historic period influenced by the demands of the FLQ, Charles de Gaulle visit to Montreal and the creation of the Canadian flag.

A temporal and sensorial voyage that defies perception, 887 is another in a long line of spectacular solo plays that have built Robert Lepage’s reputation, from La face cachée de la lune to Projet Anderson.
