Two dragons on a hunt for gold find themselves transformed into common teenagers. Now they are clumsy, decked out with unprecedented hairiness, and have arms so long that they don’t know what to do with them. Thus begins an epic quest to regain their tales, scales and mythological forms… or be trapped in those awkward human bodies forever. Grab your controllers… because this is all a video game!
Fusing live video gaming with theatrical epic, dragons is a hybrid two-player performance inspired by Eastern and Western folklore, that opens a conversation about the challenges of adolescence. Players take control to disrupt the balance of power in our societies and transform the world they are set to inherit. This new and playful production from the creative team behind asses.masses, the internationally celebrated video game for the stage, fosters connection and cooperation, transforming screen time into a collective adventure.
