To emphasize National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we will present Panorama des dramaturgies autochtones (Panorama of Indigenous Dramaturgies), a performative conference/staged reading codeveloped by professional Indigenous artists and the Centre des auteurs dramatiques (CEAD).
This project highlights a handful of texts, selected by the artists, offering an authentic and delicate perspective on the diversity of contemporary Indigenous theatre. The two performers Dave Jenniss and Marie-Pier Chamberland bring the excerpts to this life, while lecturer Alexandre Cadieux provides them with context. The presentation is followed by a discussion with the audience.
