Roadtrip: traveling by road, usually in a car and over a long distance. It involves a significant number of legs and therefore an indeterminate number of stops. This nomadic getaway can be planned in advance or improvised on a whim. It lets roadtripping fantasies run free. In short, we can go where the wind takes us and take a pit-stop when the moment feels right…
A multidisciplinary show at the intersection of the road movie genre and the film concert, Roadtrip takes little ones on an immersive journey that stimulates the senses – on the lookout, eyes wide open and all ears, scanning the landscapes that unfold against a textured backdrop. This gentle voyage is an initiation of sorts to the idea of change of scenery, told using many expressive languages. It invites the young audiences to delight in the exceptional sights the land has to offer, from the very big to the very small.
